December 14 Show: Goin' Down Slow/Christmas

Tonight is the last show before Christmas break.  We'll kick it off by listening to some different versions of the blues classic Goin' Down Slow. Written by St. Louis Jimmy Oden, the most famous version of the song was recorded 50 years ago in December 1961 by the mighty Howlin' Wolf. For this week's YouTube selection, I'm sharing a cool 1973 version (see video below) that I had not heard before. Then, at the end of the show, we'll hear a bit of Christmas blues!
