My Top Ten Blues Keyboard Solos

Of course such a list cannot ever be complete unless one has heard every blues song ever recorded featuring the keyboards, but these are my top picks based on what I have heard so far.  Numbers 4 and 8-10 feature organ, while the others feature piano.  Limited to two per artist.

1.  Goin' Down Slow -- Pinetop Perkins
     from Pinetop's Boogie Woogie

2.  Didn't He Ramble/Closer Walk with Thee -- Dr. John
from Dr. John Plays Mac Rebennack:  The Legendary Sessions Volume One

3.  After Hours -- Pinetop Perkins
     from After Hours

4.  Voodootize Me Baby -- Tony Z
     from Kiss My Blues

5.  Down at P.J.'s Place -- David Maxwell
     from Maximum Blues Piano

6.  Buzzin' -- Honey Piazza of Rod Piazza & the Mighty Flyers
     from Keepin' It Real

7.  In the Shadow -- Bruce Katz
from Three Feet Off the Ground

8.  All Alone -- Tony Z
     from Kiss My Blues

9.  Way Down Time -- Bruce Katz
from Three Feet Off the Ground

10.  Sad Day -- Barry Goldberg
from Stand Back!  Here Comes Charlie Musselwhite's South Side Band

Unfortunately, Pinetop's "Goin' Down Slow"was not available
as an MP3 from Amazon, but I found all the others.
