Get Your Band Featured on Blues Power!

This month the Wildcat 91.9 has partnered with the Kathouse Lounge in Aggieville to present a "Battle of the Bands" for the Manhattan area.  I know many of you Blues Power fans have blues bands of your own.  Here is your opportunity to participate in a virtual "Battle of the Blues Bands" to get extra recognition for your own band!  By following the simple directions below, you will have a chance to get your band featured on Blues Power.  I will review your submissions and select the top bands to feature on a special show in late June or early July.  You and your friends can listen live at http://www.wildcat919.com/.

Eligibility:

At least one member of the band must be a fan on my Facebook fan page.  As simple as that.  Bands can be any style or size.

Submission:

Send an email to bluesdjben@gmail.com.  Include your name, the name of your band, and either a.) a link to a place where I can listen to and download songs by your band or b.) one or more MP3 files of your band's music.  Optional:  if you would like me to also feature your band's song on my podcast if it is selected, please express your permission for me to do so.

Deadline:

One week before the special show.  I'll let you know when that is.  I'll also post reminders on my Facebook page and mention it on my show.


I will review all submissions and select the top bands to feature on Blues Power.  I will also mention the top bands on this blog and on my Facebook page.  I hope to hear from you and your band.  Good luck, and have fun playing the blues!
